You must complete a health assessment form. (DOWNLOAD THE FORM)

You must submit police criminal background check report including vulnerable sector search.

You must have an interview at the Korean Embassy or Consulate Generals.

First-time applicants must apply for visas at a Korean Embassy or Consulate in their own countries. However, any applicant who have previously worked with an E1, E2, E3 visa in Korea without any illegal activities are exempt from an interview and can apply for an E2 visa in a third country.

Once you have arrived in Korea, you must visit a general hospital or community health clinic to obtain medical exam certificate in order to apply for an Alien Registration at a local immigration office within 90 days of arrival |

F-4 Visa
The F-4 visa is for those who had Koreans nationality (“Gyopo”) in the past, but had since acquired nationality of other country. Those with a non-Korean nationality who has at least one parent or grandparent who is Korean or had Korean nationality in the past are also eligible for this type of visa.

C-4 Visa (Less than 90 days)
Those seeking temporary employment such as short-term entertainment, lecture, or technical training, etc.

E-1 Visa
The E-1 Visa is for foreigners who are qualified by the Higher Education Act and will be giving lectures or research at above-college-level educational facility.
