What does teaching experience count for?

Hello again. I do not have an ESL/TESOL certificate. However, I have been teaching ESL classes in Spain for ten years (privates and at academies). Will this experience count for something in terms of qualifications and salary benefit? Thanks.

Any ESL teaching experience will be appreciated and taken into consideration when negotiating salaries. Also if you have a degree in English or a teaching certificate, you will be able to command a higher salary.
